Gotha seemed pretty dead to us and it felt like 90% of the piazzarias were catering establishments. In the evening we decided to go to an Asia bistro. The bike tour itself took us from Gotha to Erfurt and was pretty easy to do. Shortly before Erfurt we refreshed ourselves in a tourist restaurant with wine spritzer and wheat. We …

The second stage to Erfurt is excellent to drive. I particularly liked the town of Mühlberg, with its baroque church and great atmosphere. The last few kilometers felt like it was all downhill 😃.
In Erfurt I now take the train to Weimar, my timing is tight and I have to skip the third cycling stage.
