On October 2, 1939, after the capitulation of the Hel crew, he was taken prisoner by the Germans and for the rest of the war was in oflags: X B Nienburg, XVIII B Spittal and II C Woldenberg. While in the camps, he taught artillery and Russian and headed the theater props section.

General Antoni Paweł Sułkowski Promenade

Born on December 31, 1785 in Leszno. He died on April 13, 1836 in Rydzyna. The prince, general, commander-in-chief of the Polish army of the Duchy of Warsaw, took part in the siege of Kołobrzeg in 1807.

He began his military service in 1806, deploying at his own expense the 1st Infantry Regiment of the Poznań Legion, of which he became the commander. The regiment took part in the battles for Gdańsk, Słupsk and Kołobrzeg. During the siege of the Kołobrzeg Fortress, Polish soldiers were assessed as full-fledged in combat, next to the French, brave and brave. Franciszek Dzierżykraj Morawski, senior adjutant of the regiment, received the third class Virtuti Militari cross for his wounds near the fortress.
