Roy's Ices

Highlight • Cafe

Best Ice Cream for miles; somewhat of an institution for locals. Dozens of flavour combinations & no daft prices either. You can have a look @ the view too - Grange, Piel, Roa island lifeboat Station, Morecambe, Arnside, Sandside and even Blackpool tower can be spotted as you munch away. If you like your viewpoints industrial then Heysham Ferry Terminal for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and the monolith that is the nuclear power station next door are the main viewpoints directly across the sands of Morecambe Bay. I can't believe Roy's isn't on here already. It's also on a left/right 90 degree road end for NCN Route 700 is that peaks your interest.
