Great Peat Bog

The large peat bog in the area of Lübbecke and Hille is the only raised bog in the whole of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is located directly in the north of the Wiehengebirge and extends over an area of 467 hectares. The moor is a special ecosystem that you can explore on several hiking trails.
