March 23, 2025,Schneeglöckchen Marsch Ortrand 26 km (gebucht 30km🤭)
Snowdrop Run in Ortrand – 30 km full of fun, sun, and treats!

What a day! Hannes (my son 🤩) and I headed to Ortrand today to participate in the Snowdrop Run. 30 km of hiking – a fun challenge for me, and the first event of this kind for Hannes. And what can I say? He rocked it!

My first Snowdrop March – a fantastic tour with beautiful weather and superb food 😃. Even Adi (Join us, do it yourself...) was there again, which made me especially happy. The event was excellently organized and lovingly designed!

For the first time in a long time, I (and Löwi for the first time) participated in a Lausitz Sports Events event. The Snowdrop March today was 30 km long, so it was only 26 km 😃 but who wants to be so picky? It was a beautiful walk, great weather, and excellent food. Everything was lovingly prepared and had …

Yesterday, cool temperatures and clouds made for perfect running weather. Today, the sun was shining ☀️ and turned the snowdrop hike into the perfect spring hike.
The paths mainly followed wide farm and forest tracks. So I could wander through the forests, fields and villages, lost in thought and enjoying the sun.
At the refreshment points, we were lovingly cared …

Second day in Ortrand with a 30 km hike, the "Snowdrop Run."
I finished third with an average speed of 6.5 km/h.
A very well-organized sporting event. The refreshment stations are run with great care and dedication.

It wasn't quite as dangerous for us 400 years later, but by pure coincidence, we started a new hiking adventure at the same time in the south of Brandenburg, in and around the world …

Given the event's name, going to Ortrand was simply a must! So, bright and early, we set off with @Reiko_Nicht Heiko! and @PatrickDD as our chauffeur. Due to work commitments, I didn't get much sleep – but that only resulted in us being a cheerful hiking group on the way. At the start, there were rolls with egg salad doping, …

January 2, 2025,Runde um Ortrand
Yesterday we went to the Königsbrücker Heide. A circular route led from the Heideturm hiking car park to Ortrand and back again. The hike is very varied and leads across fields and meadows, but also through fragrant coniferous forests. In summer, this hike is not recommended due to long stretches across the fields. There are numerous benches along the way …
