Dresden<->Volkersdorf

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Not a highlight in the true sense, but it's quite okay to ride here. The asphalt is good and you roll along fields in a beautiful landscape. Nevertheless, the road is moderately to heavily trafficked, especially during rush hour.

Village Pond and Church in Bärnsdorf

Highlight • Lake

I can only recommend taking a short break at the village pond. When the weather is nice, the church and the houses are reflected in the pond.

Moritzburg Castle and Frauenteich Lake

Highlight (Segment) • Castle

Initially a bit bumpy road surface, which gets better further back.
On nice days there is car traffic due to the visitors of Moritzburg.

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Very nice path along paddocks, fields and the Dippelsdorf pond. The asphalt is no longer the best, there are also some potholes, but the path is still suitable for road bikes, unless you do a time trial.
