Today we headed towards Stade, and when we got there we went to the harbour area to the snack bar by the lake. There was plenty of seating, including under cover, and we had coffee and chips. There was a large selection of food and drinks and there were funny sayings everywhere. Then we headed back along the dyke.

Hello, little tour in the 🔥 hot afternoon. When cycling you at least get a little wind around the water. Despite the good weather, Lühe is very clear. A little something to see on water and in the air. Lühe Schulau ferry secretly sneaks away. It would have been a nice, quiet afternoon if it hadn't been for the crow …

OK, the title is a bit bland. Just like the first part of our bike tour from Grünendeich to Stade. It goes along the bottom of the Elbe dyke. There is little to see. The dyke on the left, bushes on the right, the occasional view of the Elbe... A piece of beach (!), a foil surfer.

The bike paths could do with being renovated. Lots of hard bumps. But otherwise a great tour.

Cycled in the Altes Land with a permanent grin on my face in super nice weather. The journey there and back was a bit exhausting, so only a short report. But the day was still really nice. 🥰

A nice relaxed tour along the Elbe Cycle Path, starting in Stade. That's something to unwind, you can feel the slowness and relaxation of the north up close. A real experience for all ages.

We did this tour at short notice during the apple blossom season. Due to unplanned detours, we missed Buxtehude, but we were able to admire the beautiful houses and gardens from the Schwinge dike.

You can't have everything.

The apple orchards are truly beautiful to look at.
