Today we went to Lahberg. The highlight of this short hike is the Wulbeck.

This small stream, about 20 km long, originates in the Oldhorst Moor. Near Wieckenberg (town) of Wietze, it flows into the Wietze River. Similar to the Fuhse Riverbank Trail, a narrow path runs alongside the stream.

I'm late with my komoot activities this year, but better late than never. And today's sunny but chilly weather was perfect for a walk across the Lahberg hill and along the Wulbeck stream. For some unknown reason, I'd always ignored the Wulbeck pond before, but it's actually incredibly idyllic there. And this afternoon we had the place all to ourselves.
