View of Lake Bötzsee

Right on the banks of the Bötzsee. The path itself is easy to master, but after heavy rain it can get a bit soft and slippery.

This small bathing area on the western shore is possibly an alternative to the beach on Bötzsee, which is about 100 m further south, where you will probably find a few more bathers in summer.

Not as crowded as at Bötzsee, but you have to walk a bit more. Do not forget mosquito stuff in the summer!

Rest area at Bötzsee

Highlight • Rest Area

This is a beautifully landscaped bathing area with a rest area. The rest area is recent, while the old benches and embankment are almost forty years old. These already existed when I came by here in the mid-eighties.

The circular path of the Paradiessee was under water and was impassable. Does anyone have any idea whether it can be used in summer or is the route just an optimistic entry on the map?

Since probably everyone who goes hiking regularly (east of Berlin 😊) has already been in this area, I'll just write today that it's always beautiful there. And there are lots of cozy places to go swimming.

Easy arrival.
Super nice route with the possibility to quickly jump into the water...

These two lakes are located next to each other near Strausberg and were ideal for a leisurely stroll. Despite the cloudy weather, a beautiful environment. To our delight, we saw small green tips on some of the branches. This lifts the mood considerably. Fresh air, otherwise drizzle and sometimes very windy. It doesn't matter, as long as it's outside.
