Today we took a trip from the campsite to Eversen. It was quite warm, and I was glad that most of the path was shaded through the forest. But even that was enough for Lille and me. ☀️🥵 And we didn't leave until the early afternoon.

Nice, very quiet route on both sides of the Örtze. Unfortunately, the Örtze can only be seen from the path.
The highlight, however, were the masses of blackberries along the path. I don't think I've ever eaten so many blackberries in one day - delicious!

Today we went on a 10 km hike to see the Örtze River in the Südheide Nature Park, or what you could see of this river on the hiking trail. Well signposted, the walk was totally relaxed in great weather. The path led through semi-open and wooded terrain, repeatedly illuminated by brilliant plays of light and shadow. Beautiful!
