Hello Komootler,

This year the last day belonged to Büsum. The children dug, we marched. After dinner at Hafenpick the festival of lights took place. For the little ones there was a lantern parade, for the adults there were lights in the most amazing colors.

It was a beautiful hike from Büsum to Westerdeichstrich, almost entirely along the sea. There, sheep were still grazing in the midday sun...and a nice coffee with delicious cakes...

Hiking trip with girlfriend to the North Sea - highly recommended in winter! After this first little exploration tour, on day 2 we went on a great hike along the water to the south to Speicherkoog and from there we hiked through the dyke land along huge bodies of water to Meldorf (cathedral!). Return by train via Heide (change) to …

After the fog had cleared and we had eaten the crabs we had picked ourselves, we set off in the direction of Stinteck.
Of course, we were back down at the dike and within sight of the sea.
We walked back along the top of the dike, which is a grassy path here.
There weren't many people out and about, …

The wind is currently very strong, so we get shaken up quite a bit when we walk.
You could walk much further along the path. A bike is recommended here. …

The crabs at the harbor were beckoning, and I just had to take them with me... so we took a detour to make sure the crabs were safe... a quick dip in and out again, and then we continued towards the water... it was another beautiful round... a little bit different from the first …
