Today, the best weather took us to the "gateway to Franconian Switzerland". Exhausted from the Annafest the night before, we relaxed with an ice cream in hand and took a leisurely stroll along the city wall to the old town. 🍦
Half-timbered houses and the unique Franconian charm meant we had a great time.

The old town of Forchheim is really very attractive with many old, well-preserved houses, where a lot is obviously being restored and moved. The themed trail to the fortress - although I didn't see all the stations - was beautifully prepared.
