A truly beautiful, varied hike. A detour to the Hirschstein Castle ruins is a must; it's a lovely place to stop for a picnic. It's also ideal for hiking with dogs!

The first half is entirely on gravel forest paths, while the second half is a bit more challenging, with unpaved, partly rocky forest paths.
