Inspired by the last stop of the S-Bahn28 (Kaarster See), I went there today.

Unfortunately, you can't even get to the large quarry pond; it was declared a nature reserve a few years ago. Either nature or fences block access.

Komoot didn't know about the one locked gate yet, so I had to turn around.

Today we did another lake circuit, similar to last week. And again we were late and only returned to the car park in the dark.
