Adenhausen–Mechtshausen Cycle Path

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Beautiful cycle route in scenic surroundings with a view of the Vorharz. The path is a good alternative to the main road and can also be easily driven on throughout. The last section before Adenhausen was only recently renewed.

The bench is located directly on the cycle path of this section of the route. From there you have a beautiful view of the landscape. The right place for a quiet, relaxing break. Very helpful.

This path between Bornhausen and Seesen is, despite the gravel road on a section, still a nicer alternative to the cycle path next to the main road. Very scenic and easy to drive on.

The many ponds at the fishing club are very idyllic.
They look natural and natural, although they were probably created artificially. The implementation is all the more successful 👍🏼

Lower Saxony's second largest water source. A nice place to stay and have a picnic. Benches and a table invite every cyclist and hiker to take a break.

June 9, 2025,🚲 2.Fahrradtour "Schöne Aussichten " 📸 Seesen 2025
Hello! 😎
And the stamp hunt ♟️ around Seesen continues.
After a quick look at the weather forecast 🗺, we spontaneously hopped on our bikes 🚲🚲 and rode to Ildehausen to get the next stamp for the "Beautiful Views of Seesen."
On the way back via Seesen, we made a quick stop and enjoyed a delicious coffee ☕️ and strawberry …

Hello! 😎
Weekend + sunshine ☀️ and off we go on our bikes 🚲🚲.
Today the goal was "The most beautiful views of the Seesen village tour" part 2 - view of Kirchberg. 👀
In pleasant temperatures 🌤 we did our "home tour" with a little detour to the view, but it was worth it.

Good morning! 😎
The hiking season 🥾 2024 opened yesterday + today we tested the bikes 🚲🚲 on our "house tour" in spring-like weather ☀️⚘️.
There was also a little coffee break ☕️🍰.

The first 8-10 km are along or on a road. That's a shame, because there are some great trails off the beaten track. The last 10-15 km, however, are fantastic. Coincidentally, the trail leads directly past Wilhelm Busch's (poet Max & Moritz) grave. There's also an exhibition in his old home. Truly great.

When the sun is shining ☀️ it's really fun to be on the road with the bike 🚵 ♀️ again. Even the low temperatures around 3° 🥶 don't deter us.

The stamp tour of Seesen and the surrounding villages is very easy to ride. Highly recommended 👍

Hey! 😎
We decided to take the 🚲🚲 to Münchehof today, despite the still nice weather 🌤, to get the 4th stamp ♟️ for the "Beautiful Views" of Seesen (Part 2). 👍
All that's missing is the last stamp in September in our hometown 😉🏡 for the pin.

Hey! 😎
Today we did our local loop with the destination "Seesen Tourist Information" and picked up our pins for the "Schöne Aussichten" (Beautiful Views) 📸 + the Herzweg (Heart Trail) ❤️ Altenau, which we hiked. 😅
While we were out and about 🚲🚲, we also had a delicious plum cake with a latte macchiato at the "Hermann" bakery 🍰☕️. …
