Description
The Parish of Sant Genís is located in the upper part of the town.[1] It was built between 1791 and 1779, but, due to the French war, the works were not finished until 1821, with a Moretó style between baroque and neoclassical.[1]
The church consists of a nave, with side chapels and a dome, and a slender bell tower, built from 1814. At the beginning of the Civil War it lost all the old altarpieces and images, except for the Gothic image of Santa Maria of Gràcia.[1]
A 14th century Gothic image of the Virgin and Child is preserved there.[1]
