Dolmen of the Roca d'en Toni

Highlight • Historical Site

La Roca d'en Toni is how this dolmen is known, which stands out for its good state of conservation. It is believed that it dates from between the third and second millennium BC and is currently one of the most important megalithic monuments in the Maresme.

Medieval Necropolis of Can Boquet

Highlight • Historical Site

A few meters from the dolmen we find a small medieval necropolis made up of seven tombs, one of them of a child, Scaffolding with granite slabs. They were discovered in 1974 buried in the farmland.

All had the same morphological characteristics, rectangular plan and oriented towards the East. The cists were made of stones of regular size and covered with large rectangular and elongated slabs.

The best-preserved one had the skeleton as it was buried, with arms and legs stretched out.

Can Boquet Cross

Highlight • Mountain Pass

La Creu de Can Boquet is a 378-meter mountain pass that connects the hills of Roure and Pedrells in the municipality of Vilassar de Dalt, in the Maresme region.

It marks a crossroads where, in addition to the Pi de la Creu de Can Boquet, there is an information point of the Parc de la Serralada Litoral. The Roca d'en Toni dolmen is nearby.

Font d'en Mamet

Highlight • Natural Monument

The Font d'en Mamet de Vilassar de Dalt is located in the Parc de la Serralada Litoral, which is located in the Molí d'en Cuquet stream, a few meters above the entrance to Can Mamet, at the foot of the track forest that leads from Can Maimó to Creu d'en Boquet.

It is a very rustic fountain: only the spout embedded in the rock, some wooden railings and four steps dug into the ground to go down to the natural pond where the water is collected. Due to the fact of being in the bed of the torrent d'en Cuquet (which maintains a good level of humidity and more or less flow throughout the year) the source flows almost always. Unfortunately, the water is not drinkable. Recently it has been fixed: they have cleared it, repaired the steps that go down and replaced the spout. The water flows through a tube embedded in the stones of the bank, a foot high, and falls to the ground forming a small pool that drains directly into the stream. To the right of the fountain, at right angles to it, there is a terrace attached to the margin. Above the fountain we find a sign with the name of the fountain and a series of warnings.
