The two highest mountains, the Ďumbier (2046m) and the Chopok (2024m) are part of the standard program in the Low Tatras, also because cable cars bring visitors to the Chopok from two directions.
But I made the strenuous climb on foot and honestly earned the beautiful panoramas 😉

We were pretty much alone on the ascent via Chata M. R. Štefánuka to Krupovo sedlo, from there on the ridge between Chopok and Ďumbier hundreds of sneaker-wearing cable car tourists struggled along the connecting path between the cable car station and the Ďumbier peak.
