Narrow Canyon Section

Gets deep in places, never really higher than knee height though. This is about the deepest I think

Lower Barranco de Luna

This whole route is incredible. There are a lot of slippy rocks but I was wearing vans which probably aren't great for it. But as long as you are careful it's not too hard

The Barranco de la Luna is always an experience.
Today it was particularly interesting because after the rain of the last few days there was a bit more water in the gorge and this water was also a bit muddy and therefore reddish due to the rain. I had never seen the Barranco like this before.

Part of the hike goes through the bottom of the gorge through the river climbing over stones and trees. Expect wet feet and wear suitable footwear and clothes.
A very short but extremely demanding tour that goes about 450m through the middle of the water. So there are wet feet 🦶💧🥾.
However, the tour is definitely worth it due to the spectacular impressions and imposing rock formations.
You have to climb a lot and overcome rocky obstacles.🌞👍

You have to be a good climber 😉, sometimes you get wet up to your belly😅

This hike is suitable for the summer because your feet are guaranteed to get wet.
The entrance is easy to find. From the parking lot (with a hiking sign) it's a few meters up the road. After a short time you will see a sign pointing to the beginning of the Barranco de la Luna. The entire route is well …
