It is a cave with a natural waterfall that marks the exit of the Guadares river after its course hides within the rock, traveling through caves and underground galleries for almost 4 kilometers from the site known as Hundidero del Gato upstream. Here you will also find a picnic area and benches, making it the ideal place for a break and to appreciate this wonderful environment. Take care and respect the signs, entering the cave is prohibited.

Benaoján is a beautiful mountain town that, although it is a province of Málaga, is part of the Grazalema natural park. With about 1,500 inhabitants, this town is in the shadow of large limestone walls, where many enjoy sport climbing.

In the neighborhood of the train station, following the trail PR-A 253 or SL-A 139, you can visit Cueva del Gato. It is an impressive system of permanent water galleries that has a total length of more than four kilometres. On the other side is Montejaque, where there is another exit known as the Cueva del Hundidero.
