St. Martin Church Ammelshain

The Ammelshain church is a Romanesque choir tower church that was built around 1250. Its floor plan, with its rectangular nave, recessed choir tower and semicircular apse, is typical of the Romanesque village church in the region. Inside the church there are galleries on three sides that date from the 16th century. The organ is by Conrad Geißler (Eilenburg) from 1883. The late Gothic sacrament niche and the baroque niche in the chancel are remarkable
