June 15, 2024,Dunford Bridge to Thurgonal Tunnel ride with a sneaky look at the Penistone Viaduct

It's always a pleasure to ride along that part of the Trans Pennine Trail especially if you drop in for the best BESTMO (bacon, egg, sausage, tomato, mushroom and onion) sarnie at the Magic Wood Cafe.

Tha ascent says 1.500 ft . But it's a disused railway line . Pretty flat . East . No cars but a couple of places where you have to cross road . (Bridge unsafe)
