Better doing this loop clockwise and getting climb done on tarmac as several very steep climbs on rough track going other way.

This ride starts from Tarbet with a cycle path along the road, then becomes beautiful through a valley from Inverbeg..
Further on, the challenges are very great, steep climbs on gravel paths, finally the descent to Arrochar where there is no road, but a forest path which is very difficult even without a bike, let alone with a bike...
