A war cemetery established in 1945 where the inhabitants of Poznań who died in the fight to capture the citadel were buried. Later, other people who died in the fight for Polish independence 1939-1956 were also buried here (including victims of Fort V, Fort VII, the camp in Żabikowo and June 1956).
