Contrary to popular belief, there is no panic in this village. In fact, it is a very quiet place overlooking the Reno river. The name "Panico" derives from a type of cereal that was formerly grown in these areas. The cereal would also give the name to the district of Bologna "Borgo Panigale." From here, you can continue up to Marzabotto, or start the climb to access the historic Monte Sole regional park.

Reno River Cycle Path

Highlight • Cycleway

Nice route out of traffic and fairly smooth along the Rhine River. The only defect is the fence on the side of the artificial lakes.

Highlight • Bridge

After a nice walk along the Rhine river, cross the cycle-pedestrian bridge to get to the other side, from where you enter the Monte Sole historical park. The passage deserves a photo.
