Lucianina Trail

Highlight • Trail

I went on April 12, 26, starting from Nevache (campsite parking) and taking the Lucianina trail. Shortly after the second bridge, a recent avalanche had brought down numerous trees. Due to drifts of non-supporting snow and debris, I recommend crossing to the left bank (road) using one of the two wooden bridges encountered after the dam.

The simplest acces is from Italy, Bardonecchia.
There is a parking close to the golf / cross country ski court.
You can do cross coutry skiing to the top. Snowshoeing is good on secondary path.
There are two refuges with good food in the small village of Grange. My favourite is Rifugio i Re Magi.

Run by Riccardo and Anna, the refuge is located in the Vallée Étroite, on a listed and protected site.
