Pléchâtel-Lohéac station, on the Rennes to Redon railway line, is located at the foot of the Uzel rock. This rock was, without a doubt, the highest and wildest site on the banks of the Vilaine before the passage of the railway, which made it partially disappear. At the top were huge stones, shaped like a statue. Around the middle, there are still natural caves where you can see the names of the walkers who have visited them, engraved on the shale of the walls. These caves, which were quite difficult in the past, are almost impassable today.
