Herperduin Nature Reserve

The Herperduin nature reserve is approximately 400 hectares in size. It used to be a moorland and drifting sand and agricultural area, but from the late 19th century it has been planted with Scots pine to capture the drifting sand and provide mining timber.

In this area you will find beautiful forests, drift sand remnants and a few lakes, namely the Klompven and the Groot Ganzenven. It is wonderful walking. cycling and equestrian.
