Even though the calves still hurt, today we went to Tivoli. What a wonderful place. There is again a lot of height difference and stairs in the Parco Villa Gregoriana, so we did not go all the way down. Waiting to see how the legs feel tomorrow.

Yesterday we visited St. Peter's Basilica including the tombs of the Popes in the Vatican Grottoes. I didn't want to take the time to climb the dome because the waiting time for St. Peter's Basilica itself was already an hour and the crowd was hardly moving before the climb.
