Schenna Castle in Scena near Merano is one of the most important castles in South Tyrol. Today you can visit the castle and the formerly inhabited by the count's family state rooms in personal tours of Count von Spiegelfeld, brother in law of the owner.

The Lords of Schenna appear as Ministeriale of the Counts of Tyrol during the 12th Century in appearance.
