The Gallery of Remembrance is a permanent exhibition on forced labor and concentration camps in the city of Steyr in Upper Austria. The exhibition is located in a former air raid shelter under Lamberg Castle, which was built in 1943 by forced laborers from the Steyr-Münichholz concentration camp.
The Mauthausen Committee Steyr is the sponsoring association and responsible for the content of the exhibition. The association received scientific and conceptual advice from contemporary historian Bertrand Perz. The Museum Arbeitswelt Steyr is responsible for educational support.[1] Bernhard Denkinger designed the exhibition. It has been published in several architecture magazines
