Lünersee Alp

Highlight • Mountain Hut

Anyone who is there should definitely drink a milk or buttermilk, a cheese sandwich and enjoy the atmosphere. The products come directly from the alp. It doesn't get any fresher. Great experience!

A strenuous ascent via the "Bösen Tritt", but - it's definitely worth it! 😃

Very nice tour! If you have children, you should do the circular route around the Lünersee in a clockwise direction, as this will start with a short, tough climb and then end with a more staid route with few inclines! Highly recommended!

Ascent to Schesaplana (2,964 m). Descent via the Totalphütte to Lünersee (1,980 m).
That was the plan, had the weather cooperated. Therefore, no ascent to Schesaplana and direct descent to Lünersee, with a short detour. Then take the gondola to the valley station and continue on foot to Brand.

Unfortunately, there are no signs around the Lünersee. The way from Brand to the Lünerseebahn valley station/area around the Lünersee is only moderately signposted - which is a shame. The ascent to the Totalp hut is a medium-difficult hiking trail - which requires sure-footedness - but is far away from the alpine hiking trail. The continuation to the Schezaplana is …

Today we went up to the Lünersee via the Böse Tritt. Unfortunately, the path around the lake is a highway for hikers. Through the train, a lot of people come up for a tour around the lake. The ascent was very interesting with steel ropes to hold on to and the path directly along a small waterfall, so that you …

Today finally another day without constant rain 🙃

We immediately took the chance and took the bus towards Lünersee. As in the best Cologne commuter traffic, we squeezed in and held our breath in the direction of the Lünerseebahn. The road there is currently closed due to a landslide, so there was no alternative to the bus. In addition, this …

Today the Lünersee was on the agenda again.
Since there was a rock fall last week, land construction went from the Palüdbahn to below the Lünerbahn. It took us 15 minutes to walk to the train station and then we went around the lake.
Komoot probably also meant about the lake 😀 Unfortunately, the recording was wrong again...
