The Castle Wildegg, located on a rocky spur of the Chestenberg, consists at the core of a well-preserved castle from the 12th century with keep and Palas. In the 17th century, the castle was enlarged and rebuilt into a baroque residential castle. Castle owner Julie von Effinger died in 1912 without descendants.
