Affenberg Adventure

During the Discovery Tour, guided by a guide, visitors immerse themselves in the world of around 180 free-living monkeys. You will learn everything worth knowing about Japanese macaques and can observe the animals as if they were in the wild.

Registration for regular Discovery Tours is not necessary/possible – the "first come, first served" principle applies. Please note that during high season, especially around midday, there may be waiting times. We recommend coming in the morning or after 2:30 PM, as it is usually less crowded then :)

Arrived on vacation, we immediately went up to Landskron Castle and the Monkey Mountain!!! Anyone reading this who comes here, please visit the Monkey Mountain and the bird of prey show at the castle! It was a fantastic experience!!!
