A smoother ride than last year. We climb to the Matagrin Tower via Salvizinet, part of the monorail path, then Panissières. The climb is long but rather gradual. The descent is very pleasant, passing through the sometimes very rough Vallorges ridge slopes, then descending via smooth slopes and gullies to Balbigny, then Feurs.
