Today we went to the Ratingen city forest. Starting at the hiking car park "Am trockenen Stiefel" we headed towards the forest. Wide hiking trails and narrow paths alternated, here and there lined with bright yellow flowering broom 🤩. The Dickelsbach stream accompanied us for long stretches, sometimes slower and sometimes faster, and meandered through the landscape. Sunny and shady …
