Today I went cycling with my daughter again. It was really nice. We've always wanted to go on a bike ride along the Rhine or the Moselle. And the only place you can cycle along both rivers together is here in Koblenz 😂.

We started again at the RV park. There are great bike paths here in Koblenz.

June 17, 2023,Ums Deutsche Eck
The Depp tour this morning ended faster than expected and so I took an early train to Koblenz. And of course the EC to Hamburg is late - signal box problems.

That was also a good thing, so I had time to do a little tour around the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz.

Nice route..There is a construction site in Koblenz but the diversion for cyclists is well signposted. In Bendorf we went up the steep stairs to the bridge. The last part back to the car was a bit confusing I think because there were diversions due to the construction sites and these were poorly signposted..Otherwise it was a nice, hot 🏰🚤🛳🌞🌞tour …

Took advantage of the rain ☔️ break.
Took a little walk around Koblenz.

A nice way to pass the time for 1.5 hours. Overall, this route is not really worth it. In addition, the cycle path ends at the end of the Rhine bridge (A48) and you can only get down to the road below via a long staircase (with a small side ramp for the tires). You can certainly find something nicer …

A great tour along the Moselle, the Rhine and through the old town of Koblenz.

Finally time for a bike ride again and how's the weather 🌧️😮‍💨

It doesn't matter, it only dribbles slightly and maybe I'm lucky and it stops right away 😁

Then we started in good spirits and ( spoiler ) it really rained down 🌧️🌧️😵‍💫

Arrived at the fort, as expected (typically German), everything was locked, of course 😤

Mother's Day tour ❤️, from Bendorf Sayn 🦋🦋, butterfly park, we went to Vallendar 🏞, to Ehrenbreitstein🚡🏰 and back on the other side of the Rhine🛥🛳 in beautiful weather. A beautiful tour with views of the Rhine. The climb to the fortress was quite steep ⬆️, but the view is very beautiful. The bike paths🚴 were quite busy in places …
