After leaving the Höningen monastery, which is only a ruin, and the village, the narrow road climbs gently up to 488m above sea level. NN. Very nice, winding section with little traffic. Especially at dusk, when rays of sunshine fall through the mixed forest here and there, the Palatinate Forest with its red sandstone cliffs shows itself from its most beautiful side. If you have made it to Lindemannsruhe, you only go downhill to Leistadt, from where you have a beautiful view of the Rhine plain.
