View of the Ammergebirge Mountains

Highlight • Viewpoint

A 360-degree panorama photo is worthwhile here. Because no matter where you look, your eyes see a wonderful mountain panorama everywhere. Also in the field of vision are the Reschberg, the Brünstelkreuz and the Katzenkopf.

After the somewhat boring ascent on the wide forest path, the path becomes a little narrower and rockier, but also more beautiful. However, there are two steep ramps to overcome, which are easy to master with the EMTB Turbo

June 25, 2024,MTB Farchant - Enningalm - Farchant 🚴🏽‍♂️⛰️
The Enningalm is a worthwhile destination, great location!

Even if it was "only" up and down the forest road, it was a worthwhile slog 😉

If only the alpine pasture had been open... but you can't have everything.

Nice starting point for the peaks in the area (Hirschbichl, Windstierkopf, Feldernkopf,...)

At Enningalmtrail, avoid my route in the lower part, ingrown and swampy, either on the trail or completely to the forest road. Pushing passage to the upper Schafkopftrail approx. 20 minutes, upper part of the trail very demanding, better to get on right below….

Although the Enningalm is located in a rather remote and quiet area of the Ammergau Alps, it is visited quite frequently. The Alm is particularly popular with mountain bikers because they are rewarded with a long descent for the sweaty ascent. Framed by the Hirschbichel in the south and the Vorderen Feldernkopf in the north-east, it lies on a beautiful …

Round trip from Oberau started at the hiking car park, then a leisurely 5km towards Garmisch.
Then the climb began around 800m to the Enningalm. This runs mostly on a forest road. A section up at around 8.5km is steep and stony, we decided to carry our bikes again as it was muddy.
The Ennignalm invites you to take a …

April 29, 2023,Enning Alm
Today we wanted to see if we could do the Enning- & Stepberg-Alm, Gelbes Gwänd, including the detour to the front Ziegspitz.

It went as usual up to Enning-Alm, but then there were snowfields on very wet ground, if you break through wood you definitely get wet and very cold feet. You can't push the bike because of the sticky …

With Gabi during the lunch break to Enning. The tour started in Garmisch and ended in Burgrain at the dog school. There wasn't that much time left after all. But the only good day of the week had to be used 🥰🚴🏽‍♀️

How are things in the Bayr. foothills from? Can you already bike? The planning for today was: up to the Enning-Alm over the Pflegersee. Then over to the Stepbergalm and over the yellow wall down to GAP. So much for the plan...
