The Bolyai Farkas Theoretical Lyceum is a Hungarian-language secondary school. Founded in 1557, it was initially located in the Franciscan monastery next to the castle church. After being devastated by the armies of General Basta in 1601/1602, the institution moved to the site where the lyceum still stands today.
