Green Lake Park has lots of facilities, including a cafe, pool, beach and tennis courts.

From here you can access the Green Lake Trail. Cycle around one of Seattle's most beloved parks and lake. The trail is approximately 2.8 miles in length and is popular with walkers, runners and cyclists.

Green Lake trail is a multi-use path, so please respect other path users.

There are multiple swimming areas on the lake, but be sure to check the times that they are lifeguarded.

East Green Lake Beach

Highlight • Beach

East Green Lake Beach is a local hot spot for a great day of water activities in the sun. During the summer months, lifeguards are on duty, and a wide variety of paddle boats and watercraft are available for rent. There is a fantastic multi-use path around the lake's perimeter, making this a perfect spot to end your run and take a dip in the cool water on a hot day.

Bitter Lake Reservoir Open Space

Highlight • Rest Area

The reservoir itself is enclosed by a fence, limiting access, but it still provides a pleasant view. The park, situated in a nice neighborhood, serves as a pleasant spot for a break and even features a fitness zone, allowing you to get a quick workout in between your ride.

Interurban Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

All told, this paved multiuse trail runs for 24 miles from Shoreline to Everett. It's popular for both bicycle and foot-powered commuting, and this section takes you close to Lake Ballinger and, a little further to the north, Ballinger Park.

Bagley Drive Hill Climb

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

This is a steep hill. Fun to go down, a workout to climb back up. Even so, it beats the alternative bike lane along Meridian Avenue - you are in among the trees with no cars whizzing past you at 40 mph. Take a deep breath and gear waaay down...
