Wooden Bridge Over the Gertelbach

Highlight • Bridge

The bridge over the Gertelbach is an idyllic highlight on the Gertelbach circular trail in Bühlertal. This charming wooden bridge leads over the rippling water of the Gertelbach and offers a picturesque view of the surrounding waterfalls and moss-covered rocks. Surrounded by dense vegetation, the bridge invites you to take a short rest to enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. The scenery is particularly impressive after rainfall, when the water flows strongly and the bridge plunges into a romantic wilderness. Sturdy shoes are an advantage here in order to safely cross the slippery and rocky passages.

- NOTE: I really enjoyed this route, perhaps more than I expected precisely because of what was most uncomfortable for us: a tremendous downpour that soaked us to the bone. But even in that situation, the trail was very comfortable and …

Great tour from Bühlertal to the Gertelbach waterfalls and the Wiedenfelsen. Despite the heavy rain that lasted for a long time yesterday, the tour was very easy to walk on. Unfortunately, the fog was hanging in the mountains at the Wiedenfelsen and we unfortunately had no view.

Sunday, summer solstice. The perfect day for a walk through a beautiful, cool valley. My choice falls on the Gertelbach Waterfalls, which I've passed once or twice on my hikes. This time, the focus is on spending time together, experiencing nature, and taking photos.

Great hike. But also very strenuous
The first few kilometers are demanding. That was also the reason why we had to abandon the tour. Good condition should be present (for everyone)!!!

A wonderful hiking trail, pure nature! You should wear proper hiking boots that go above your ankles and be prepared to take on some difficult trails. I personally find the hike very beautiful.
