April 14, 2024,Maasduinen Reindersmeer – Reindersmeer Runde von Well
A great tour in a very beautiful area. We had great weather and the 18 km went well.

Exploring the Maasduinen National Park. Very nice for a sunny winter day. In summer, however, it will be quite busy here.
.
On the way back, you can shorten the tour a bit and take the crank ferry across the Reindersmeer.

Such a sunny weekend!☀️
I would have loved to go to the sea and unfortunately I only have Sunday 😟

I'll just go to the Reindersmeer!

From the hiking car park I walk through the forest, come straight to the sand dunes and after the climb:
The (Reinders) Sea 😉!

Is it crazy to hike in the heat?

It is!

On Thursday we went to the Maas dunes. A highlight were the many small natterjack toads. There were also quite a few butterflies, especially peacock butterflies and forest board games, still out and about.

Have fun with the pictures and descriptions 😊.

Last Tuesday it was the turn of the Maas dunes again. My hope for large-scale heather blossoms was not disappointed.

Landscape, dragonflies, frogs, birds and flowers, there was a bit of everything.

Have fun with the pictures and descriptions 😊.

A beautiful area for hiking 🥾🎒 and cycling 🚲

Showing Translation

On Thursday we went to the Maas dunes in wonderful weather. The road to the Reindermeer Süd car park is open again and so we went from there to the Eendenmeer and back.

In addition to birds, there were also common toads, frogs, a brown hare, butterflies, beetles, sand bees and more to see.
