View of Grunewaldsee

Highlight • Viewpoint

The view of the Grunewaldsee is really nice. Why this highlight, however, advertises the view of the hunting lodge, I can not understand, because it is just to guess.

Forsthaus Paulsborn

Highlight • Restaurant

The large historic forester's house directly on the Grunewaldsee now houses a restaurant and a hotel. The restaurant with its stylishly furnished rooms takes you on a journey back in time to the late 19th century.

There are dog beaches here and therefore lots of dogs, a paradise for dog lovers. The castle with a café and the Paulsborn forester's house are located on the lake.

A very refreshing walk with swimming breaks. Since hardly anyone swims in the Grunewaldsee, the water is crystal clear (dogs don't pee in the water)
As a dog owner, it's always a worthwhile 'I look at lots of dogs' tour

The first Berliner Weisse of the year, sunshine at 18°C and finishing work in a deck chair.

Where do all these dogs come from?! I can count at least two dogs for every owner. And there are a lot of owners frolicking around Grunewaldsee on this Friday afternoon.

It's snowing… the microspikes on our shoes dig deep into the completely icy forest path. The crackling and popping sounds like a melody… the woodpecker's tapping high in the tree is barely audible. 🎶

There are a few two- and four-legged creatures on Grunewaldsee… @Joelle and I stay on the path, even though in some places the transition from the …
