The round is also wonderful for hiking 🥾 A small detour to the 944 m high Finsterberg summit is worthwhile. From the Finsterberg tower you have a fantastic all-round and long-distance view. The start and finish was at the "Kalte Herberge" hiking car park between Suhl and Schmiedefeld on the Rennsteig 🌲®️
