A great hike from Gimmeldingen, we really deserve the “after work wine” 💪🍷🍷
The Gimmeldinger Meerspinne is a vineyard in the Palatinate wine-growing region.

It's best to download an offline version beforehand, as the signage
(black donkey on a white background) is somewhat patchy.
Alternatively, simply follow the blue and white bar. This signage runs parallel and is quite reliable.

With a nice, steep climb that was a bit strenuous!
Sturdy shoes and hiking poles recommended!
The food at the Deidesheimer Hütte is delicious, but the service is also excellent!

Refreshments in Benjental (we wanted to try the Loog facility, but it was packed). Very pork-heavy, but at least there is also Käsespätzle to fill you up. Prices okay, Riesling spritzer for 4.50.
