The path continues onward here towards Burley, however we wanted to go back for cake at the Holmsley tearooms so looped back.

The tea room is in a lovely building with some great items dotted about relating to the railway. The cakes looked amazing but went for a savoury option on this visit.

Keep a sharp eye out along the edges of route, original steel work can still be seen from the railway, such as signal gantry bases that were just cut close to the ground when the railway was closed and demolished.
