Every few years, (my) tour through the Rhenish lignite mining area - land of man-made lakes and mountains 😉.

In the best weather 😎 and pleasant temperatures, the tour started at the Dürwisser Blausteinsee, the former open-cast mine Zukunft - the site of many youthful adventures (all of them statute-barred 😄) across the beet taiga, past some 'dredged away' villages …
