Outlaw MTB Trail Start

Highlight • MTB Park

A good introduction to Trail Centre Singletrack with nothing too technical and not a lot of elevation.

Kitchener's Rocky Drop

Highlight • MTB Park

Small rocky drop with alternative routes to avoid. Nothing to worry about, can look more than it is as you approach at speed around the corner for the first time.

The name of this section is: Dog Soldiers

Hellfire Alley Trail

Highlight • MTB Park

Another section that gives back what you put in, get that speed up then pump and get some little bits of air over the roots

One of the best bits at Pines, go all out and give it some beans, power up the short climb in the middle and drop down onto the fire road

Death Valley Trail

Highlight • MTB Park

A section that starts out quite mild and fast flowing that all of a sudden turns into technical switchbacks with choices of which route to take... good for a bit of mate racing.

September 14, 2023,Sherwood Pines - Blisthrope Cycleway & Red Route (part of it)
When I cycled on Tuesday didn't know had that had minimal rear brake pads left, but the wets sand destroyed that on Tuesday whatever I had left, thankfully Sherwood Pines Cycle centre was able put new pads got sintered this time to increase durability and no glazing over in wet weather . Only did part of red route , due …
Fab day, beautiful weather. Had a bit of an oopsie on a rock drop thing (technical term😉) and broke my phone holder 😢
Another bone dry & beautiful day at Sherwood Pines, Car Park almost empty.
This time I tried the lighter and more flexible EXO casing Minion DHF in MaxGrip compound.
Magnificent! - found my perfect tyre combination, really enjoyed a fast run through the woods.
High Roller II EXO MaxTerra on the back, 18psi(F) 20psi(R) [Tubeless] seems spot on, both myself …
What a perfect day for an adventure ride. I followed the red trail to the optional loop and then went off and explored. I ended up on route 6 and then back on the blue trail. Finished most of the red trail and headed back. 1 of the best rides ive done, the bed of leaves and sun through the …
Bone dry at Pines.
Tried a Magic Mary Purple (Ultra Soft) on the front with a Super Gravity casing. However, this is not really ideal for trail riding as it is so heavy & tough.
Ended up with 16psi in it to try and get more compliance. I'll be taking it back off tonight and going back to Maxxis EXO …
March 29, 2022,Pines Red & Blue
After a bit of a bike strip & rebuild, the perfect place for a shakedown is Pines on a cool & damp day. No puddles or mud, perfect for another all-action thrash through the woods.
Constantly being maintained to handle the weekend traffic, there is now more bermage, meaning it's getting even faster!
The new start to the blue is nice and flowy but a couple of sharp corners should be decent when its bedded in
Plenty of showers today some heavy but the trails stayed fairly dry
