Aimer trailhead car park with playground and barbecue area

Highlight • Parking

It's always worth coming here with the little ones. It's also always worth arriving early. When the weather's nice, there's almost always a barbecue going on, so you can sit down with a sausage before heading off.

A beautiful view of the high valley near Gruibingen. You can see both motorway branches. There are two benches at the edge of the forest for a rest, but you can also sit comfortably on the grass.

June 8, 2024,entlang des Albtrauf zur Ruine Hiltenburg
Based on the Löwenpfad "Höhenrunde" (High-altitude loop), we were able to enjoy beautiful views of the valley, a castle ruin with great rest and seating areas, and beautiful forest and meadow paths on this varied tour from the spacious hiking car park.

Today a hiking suggestion of the SZ/BZ from 15.12.2022 carried out.
Title: Great view of the "Goißatäle" - Ditzenbach and Tierstein

🌞🥵 Weather-wise, the tour was hiked in 🙃 the opposite direction 🥾.
That means first in the 🌞 sun over the plateau, then back in the 🌳 shadow on the Albtrauf.

One of my favorite trails is the trail along the Albtrauf above Bad Ditzenbach and Gosbach. I hadn't hiked today's variant in this form before.
Start was from the parking lot Schonterhöhe. After just a few meters you reach the narrow path above the Albtrauf, which you now simply follow in the direction of Tierstein. After a few meters you …

Today I took advantage of the nice weather again and finally walked the route I had been planning for a long time.

Wonderful tour on the Albtrauf south of Bad Ditzenbach. The Hiltenburg and the Tierstein offer fantastic views of the upper Filstal. However, the lower eaves path is quite overgrown and a fallen tree has to be bypassed on the slope. If you want to be on the safe side, take the upper eaves path for the way there and back, …

A very nice late morning tour always along the Albtrauf (Löwenpfad 🦁 "Höhenrunde") with a detour to the Hiltenburg 🛕 Again and again very nice vantage points 🪨 on Bad Ditzenbach,... Of course the orchid meadow was great right at the beginning 🌺 - I got the tip from {0 } - thanks for that👋 Last year I had to …

Another very nice hike in the footsteps of the lions🦁🦁 The first half of the way was a bit muddy in places, which is why we took the sunnier route over the plateau with paved paths for the way back. A really beautiful landscape that also makes you want to come back by bike😀🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

I needed an umbrella for the first kilometer, but then the sun came out. ☀️☀️
